Overview
The Sales Coordinator plays a crucial role in our leading lighting company in Saidapet, supporting the sales team in achieving their objectives and ensuring exceptional customer service. This role is pivotal in coordinating sales activities, maintaining customer relationships, and providing administrative support to the sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the sales team in managing schedules, appointments, and travel arrangements
- Handle customer inquiries and provide pre-and post-sales support
- Prepare and process sales orders accurately and efficiently
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely delivery of products
- Conduct market research to identify potential leads and opportunities
- Assist in the preparation of sales presentations and proposals
- Maintain and update sales and customer records
- Assist in the organization of promotional events and trade shows
- Provide administrative support to the sales team, including generating reports and maintaining documentation
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials
- Monitor and report on sales performance metrics
- Address customer issues and ensure satisfaction
- Participate in sales meetings and take minutes
- Assist with the onboarding of new sales team members
- Contribute to creating and maintaining a positive team environment
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- Proven work experience as a Sales Coordinator or similar role
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Team-oriented with a customer-focused mindset
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Candidates should have minimum two years of experience in Interior Architectural Product. ( Eg. Lighting, Furnitures, Furnishing, Plywood, etc. )
Work Location: Saidapet, Chennai.
