The Job
A sales coordinator should be adept at overseeing the productivity of the sales team. A sales coordinator ensures that sales department runs smoothly by organizing and coordinating sales activities ensuring Customer onboarding is done smoothly starting from Demo's to conversion , etc. This also includes regular communication with client and leading to increased productivity. They may also handle customer calls and emails if a sales representative is unavailable.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Handle customer calls and emails
- Collaborate with the sales team to support them in the sales cycle and follow up with customers
- Gather feedback from customers and loop back information to the sales team.
- Develop and maintain file systems to keep sales records and run reports
- Answer questions of customers and prospects
- Co-ordinate with operations and sales department to effectively service customers
- Collect and analyze data to target new sales
- Track goals and quotas for the entire sales team
- Collaborate with other teams to increase sales
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Two or more years of experience as a sales coordinator or in sales administration
- Computer literacy
- Good administrative, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, follow up, and customer service skills
- The ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines
- Current knowledge of industry trends and regulations.
