Role Description
We are hiring for a full-time on-site role located in Mumbai for a Sales Business Development professional. The Sales Business Development professional will be responsible for various day-to-day tasks, including lead generation, market research, customer service, and implementing sales strategies to achieve business targets.
Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand customer base.
- Identify key growth opportunities within existing accounts and new markets.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction.
- Collaborate with clients to identify business opportunities and challenges, proposing solutions that align with their objectives.
Lead Generation and Conversion:
- Generate new leads through proactive outreach, networking, and leveraging existing relationships.
- Qualify leads and convert them into opportunities, managing the sales cycle from prospecting to closure.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential business opportunities.
- Analyse sales data and metrics to optimize strategies and drive continuous improvement.
Business Development Initiatives:
- Identify and pursue strategic partnerships, alliances, and distribution channels to expand market reach.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote products and services.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and customer support to ensure alignment on business objectives.
- Provide regular updates, reports, and insights on sales performance and market trends to senior management.
Negotiation and Contract Management:
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring terms are favourable and aligned with company policies.
- Manage contract renewals, amendments, and upselling opportunities with existing clients.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in sales or business development within the real estate, building materials, or related industries.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a relevant field (MBA preferred).
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
