Job Summary: We are looking for a proactive and results-driven individual to join our team. The role requires you to focus on selling our ready to buy and custom-made furniture pieces to architects, interior designers, builders and end users. This role will involve building and maintaining relationships with professionals in the design industry, showcasing our products, and driving sales to achieve revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and prospect potential clients within the architecture and interior design community, including architects, interior designers, and design firms.
Develop and nurture relationships with existing clients to understand their needs and preferences.
Showcase our range of furniture products, both ready-made and custom, to architects and designers through presentations, meetings, and showroom visits at our Karjat store
Collaborate closely with the design team to provide tailored solutions and recommendations based on client requirements.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and quotations.
Negotiate pricing and terms of sale to close deals and achieve sales targets.
Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
Attend industry trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to promote the brand and generate leads.
Provide exceptional customer service and follow up on inquiries and orders in a timely manner.
Collaborate with internal teams, including customer service, logistics, and operations, to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
Qualifications:
Proven track record in B2B sales within the furniture, design, or related industry.
Experience in selling to architects, interior designers, and design firms is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of furniture design, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate product features and benefits effectively.
Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
Willingness to travel within assigned territory as needed.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, design, or a related field preferred.
2+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the furniture or design industry.
Familiarity with interior design concepts and terminology is a plus.
