Job Title: Business Development & Sales Manager (IT) - Analytics and Gen AI Startup

Location: : Hybrid (Gurgaon)

Position Overview:

As the Business Development & Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth strategy by identifying and cultivating new business opportunities in foreign markets. Your primary responsibility will be to generate leads, conduct cold outreach, and secure appointments with potential customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development and sales within the IT industry, with specific experience in selling data intelligence and analytics solutions being a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

1. *Lead Generation:* Proactively identify and research potential clients in target markets to generate new business leads.

2. *Cold Outreach:* Initiate contact with prospects through various channels including email, phone calls, social media, and networking events to create opportunities for engagement.

3. *Appointment Setting:* Secure appointments with decision-makers and key stakeholders to present our Analytics and Gen AI solutions and effectively communicate our value proposition.

4. *Relationship Building:* Build and nurture relationships with prospective clients through ongoing communication and follow-up to understand their business needs and challenges.

5. *Market Research:* Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to provide insights for product development and sales strategies.

6. *Collaboration:* Work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotional materials to support sales efforts.

7. *Pipeline Management:* Maintain accurate records of sales activities and opportunities in CRM software, and provide regular reports on sales performance and progress towards targets.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).

- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in business development and sales, with a focus on IT services.

- Proven track record of success in selling data intelligence and analytics solutions to medium to large businesses and enterprises.

- Strong understanding of foreign markets, particularly in the US, Europe, Australia, and the Middle East.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.

- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales productivity tools.
