Job Description

As a Sales & Business Development professional, you will play a vital role in expanding our reach, forging strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth. Your primary objective will be to promote and sell our educational travel experiences to schools, educational institutions, and other target markets. Here s what the role entails:
  • Business Development: You will actively seek out new business opportunities and develop a robust pipeline of potential clients. This involves researching and identifying prospective customers, attending industry events and conferences, and leveraging networking opportunities to expand our client base.
  • Relationship Building: Building strong relationships is key to success in this role. You will engage with schools, administrators, educators, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and present the value of our educational expeditions. Your ability to connect with people, listen actively, and address their concerns will be crucial in fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Sales Strategies and Presentations: You will develop and implement effective sales strategies to showcase the unique benefits of Edufiesta Expeditions. This includes creating persuasive sales presentations, conducting product demonstrations, and highlighting the educational value and transformative experiences we offer. Your goal will be to articulate the value proposition and close deals that align with our mission.
  • Account Management: Once clients are onboard, you will ensure their satisfaction and maintain ongoing relationships. You ll serve as their main point of contact, addressing any inquiries, resolving issues, and proactively identifying opportunities for additional engagement. Your focus will be on building customer loyalty and maximizing retention.
  • Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence: To stay ahead of the competition, you will conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and gather competitive intelligence. This information will enable you to refine sales strategies, identify new market segments, and tailor our offerings to meet the evolving needs of customers.
  • Collaborative Teamwork: You ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, curriculum development, and operations to align sales efforts with overall business objectives. Sharing market insights, providing feedback, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our products and services will be vital aspects of your role.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proven track record in sales and business development, preferably in the education or travel industry for a minimum of 5 years.
  • Strong relationship-building abilities and a customer-centric approach.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Analytical mindset to identify opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools for effective pipeline management. A genuine passion for education, cultural exchange, and experiential learning. Previous experience in same industry is a must.
