Position Overview:
Want to be an early member of a sales and BD team in a start up founded by IIT B alums
We are seeking an ambitious Sales Associate to drive in-person sales across Maharashtra and Gujarat. This role focuses on building client relationships, understanding client needs, and positioning our procurement platform as the ideal solution for heavy industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement & Relationship Building: Conduct in-person meetings to establish and strengthen client relationships, address pain points, and showcase how our platform meets their needs. Proficiency in Marathi and familiarity with the local culture are advantageous.
- Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with leadership to shape our sales approach and contribute insights to refine the sales process.
- People Management & Networking: Leverage connections to identify leads, deepen client relationships, and expand opportunities.
Compensation:
This position offers a competitive base salary with uncapped commission on successful client acquisitions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from a Tier 1 institution
- 2-4 years of sales experience, ideally in high-performance environments
- Understanding of procurement processes, ideally with technical insight
- Proficiency in Marathi and familiarity with Maharashtra business culture preferred
- Strong people management and networking abilities
