Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Application Engineer based in Hyderabad. The Sales Application Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support, sales engineering, and leveraging electrical and mechanical engineering knowledge to support the sales process on site.
We're seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to drive business growth for our industrial products portfolio in Pune.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Sales: Generate sales leads, conduct product demonstrations, and provide technical support to customers.
Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of industrial products, applications, and industry trends.
Customer Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with existing and potential customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
Technical Support: Collaborate with the internal team to resolve customer technical queries.
Market Intelligence: Gather and analyze market data, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
Proposal and Quotation Management: Prepare and submit technical proposals, quotations, and presentations.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related fields).
Experience: Minimum 2 years of sales engineering experience in industrial automation products Technical Skills: Strong understanding of industrial automation, control systems, and instrumentation.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Sales Acumen: Proven sales skills, with a strong track record of meeting targets.
Travel: Willingness to travel
