Overview

The Sales and Marketing Intern plays a crucial role in supporting the sales and marketing teams in executing campaigns, analyzing market trends, and contributing to the development of marketing strategies. This role is essential for gaining hands-on experience in the dynamic field of sales and marketing, as well as understanding customer needs and behaviors.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the sales and marketing teams in daily administrative tasks.
  • Assist in the creation of marketing materials and presentations.
  • Conduct market research and analyze consumer rating reports/questionnaires.
  • Help organize and execute marketing events and exhibitions.
  • Assist in managing social media channels to drive engagement and increase followers.
  • Provide support in analyzing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic, etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies.
  • Contribute to the creation of content for social media and marketing materials.
  • Assist in the distribution or delivery of marketing materials.
  • Help manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM).
  • Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
  • Provide administrative support when needed.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of events, campaigns, and trade shows.
  • Any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong desire to learn along with professional drive.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications (e.g., CRM tools, Online analytics, and Google AdWords).
  • Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (particularly MS Excel and MS PowerPoint).
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Understanding of different marketing techniques and strategies.
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles and social media platforms.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Willingness to take initiative and be proactive in identifying opportunities.
