Role Overview: The account manager will be responsible for driving sales growth from the account by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities. This role requires strong account management skills, sales & business development experience, good understanding of the Oil & Gas and Energy vertical , and a proven track record in meeting sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement a sales strategy to target key accounts in the O&G / energysector, focusing onsolutions that meet industry-specific needs.
- Business Development: Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the vertical. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects/opportunities.
- Client Engagement: Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executivesand other decision-makers.
- Solution Selling: Understand client needs and position relevantsolutions to address those needs. Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations that highlight the value proposition.
- Negotiation & Closing: Lead the negotiation process with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements. Achieve and exceed sales targets by closing deals with a focus on long-term partnerships.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to adapt sales strategies and provide clients with insights that can enhance their operations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the technical and product teams to ensure client requirements are understood and met. Provide feedback on product enhancements based on customer input.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline status. Provide regular reports to management on sales performance.
