Safety Officer

Liaise between customer, project teams and HSE Department on HSE-related matters.Trains, monitors and coaches team members to improve skill level, to ensure adherence to principles, policies and standards to improve safety, health and environmental processes in a reliable and cost effective manner. Participates in accident investigations, problem resolution, and appropriate feedback (REX) within the teams and sites.

Assist all India Plants & departments in implementation of H&S compliance & give advices.

Provides support in compiling data and evaluating statistics for management, OSHA, and Plants quotation requirements / reporting.

Act as focal point for customer HSE and project management representatives. Drive quarterly meetings with key suppliers/Sub contractors to review HSE performance and establish actions for improvements.

Partner with and coach supplier HSE staff to facilitate continuous improvements plans.Strive to establish consistency among project teams working for various Plants or Projects.

Ensure open, prompt communications on HSE incidents and activities.

Conduct HSE audits/evaluations with suppliers and vendors.

Facilitate monthly project-specific Safety Leadership team meetings.

Report to the HSE MEAP BL director

Maintain up to date and communicate to the HSE MEAP BL Director

The monthly report, indicators (reporting, monthly report...).

Participate and realize the risks assessment for the Plants/Projects.

Monitor HSE performance during high hazard activities.

Educational Qualification:

HSE Diploma or a similar qualification

Work Experience:

Total Experience of 10 to 15 Years
