Safety Officer

Description

We are looking for a Safety Officer for Canada, Germany and Hongkong and oversee the safety of our employees and work environment. The ideal candidate should have 2-12 years of experience in the job market context of India and possess the required hard skills and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local and national regulations
• Conduct safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and risks
• Provide training to employees on safety practices and procedures
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions
• Maintain safety records and prepare reports for management

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, or related field
• Certification in safety management (e.g. NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH) is preferred
• Knowledge of local and national safety regulations
• Experience in conducting safety inspections and audits
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
