- Safety Policies and Procedures: Developing and implementing safety policies, procedures, and guidelines in compliance with local, national, and international safety standards and regulations
- Safety Training: Organizing and conducting safety training programs for employees to increase awareness, educate on safety protocols, and ensure adherence to safety practices
- Incident Investigation: Investigating workplace incidents, accidents, or near-misses to determine root causes, implementing corrective measures, and developing strategies to prevent recurrence
- Safety Inspections and Audits: Conducting regular inspections and audits of work areas, equipment, and processes to ensure compliance with safety regulations and identify areas for improvement
- Emergency Preparedness: Developing emergency response plans, conducting drills, and training employees on emergency procedures to ensure preparedness in case of accidents or disasters
- Environmental Compliance: Monitoring environmental impact, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and implementing measures to minimize environmental risks associated with operations
- Safety Equipment and Systems: Evaluating, recommending, and implementing safety equipment, protective gear, and safety systems to enhance workplace safety
- Safety Reporting: Maintaining records of safety-related incidents, inspections, and training activities
- Generating reports and documentation to communicate safety performance and compliance status
