Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Rug Designer at ART INDIA located in Jaipur. The Rug Designer will be responsible for designing and creating unique and visually appealing rug patterns. They will work closely with the design team to develop innovative designs and layouts. The Rug Designer will also collaborate with artisans and other team members to ensure the quality and craftsmanship of the rugs.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in rug design and pattern creation
• Proficiency in trend study and forecast.
• Knowledge of different weaving techniques and materials
• Strong artistic and creative abilities
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for color and texture
• Experience in working with artisans and production teams
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of textile industry trends and market demands
• Degree or certification in textile design or related field
