We are looking for a skilled Room Boy to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms, ensuring guest comfort and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain guest rooms in accordance with established standards
- Change bed linens, replace towels and toiletries, and restock supplies
- Report any damage, deficiencies, or discrepancies in guest rooms to management
- Ensure guest privacy and security by properly securing guest rooms and respecting guest belongings
- Respond promptly to guest requests and complaints
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and report any shortages or malfunctions
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective room cleaning and turnover
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-4 years of experience as a Room Boy in a hotel or hospitality setting
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures, chemicals, and equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
