We are looking for an experienced Research & Development Head who will be responsible for the research, planning, and improving existing products based on industry trends along with developing New Products to meet the needs of the Company's Target Market.
Job Description:
Lead key projects with R&D to support business goals
Directly participate in the development/ improvement of new/ existing product recipes or formulas, processes, equipment, and expansions in cooperation with all departments, conveying necessary information to all parties involved
.Determine and execute improved technologies used by suppliers, competitors, and customers.
Ensured the timely implementation of quality & food safety management strategies in line with FSSAI and other Acts applicable for food processing and packagingInitiate, coordinate and implement the execution of GMPs and GHPs; adhered to the highest level of quality standards as per FSSAI / ISI / Codex & lowered QA and R&D departments costs wherever possible
Accurate and prudent cash flow management to ensure no cash related stress to the company while at the same time nurturing the growth plan of the company through well thought out investment strategies
Direct reporting staff for attainment of individual & reduced product cost, rejections & wastages by implementing corrective & preventive measuresFollowed norms such as ISO, IFS & HACCP accreditations and ensured their continuous maintenance of records of the same
Co-ordinate with all HACCP team members for effective HACCP implementation and food safety management; led verification, validation, correction & maintenance of laboratory records, calibration of lab instruments
Job Specification:
Proven experience as RnD Head or relevant role
Excellent in MS Office & Exposure to SAP will be an added advantage
Excellent communication and public speaking skills
Masters in Food Science required
Age below 50 years
Job Location - Thrissur, Kerala
CTC - 30 LPA
