Job Description

We are a Data Analytics Consulting Company specializing in providing customer-centric solutions to US-based Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) brands. Historically, we've excelled in customer analytics, and now, we are expanding our services by offering full-fledged Retention Marketing solutions to our clients. Our goal is to boost customer lifetime value (CLV) and reduce churn through advanced customer segmentation, targeted campaigns, and data-driven strategies.

We are looking for a Retention Marketing Specialist to join our team and lead this new function. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing retention strategies that drive engagement, loyalty, and incremental revenue for our clients by using both best practices and advanced segmentation techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development:

o Own the Retention Marketing strategy and execution for multiple DTC brand clients.

o Collaborate with internal analytics teams to leverage customer insights and create actionable

retention plans.

o Design and implement email, SMS, and loyalty program strategies that drive repeat purchases and increase customer lifetime value.

Customer Segmentation and Targeting:

o Use data analytics to identify microsegments of customers based on behavior, demographics,

purchase history, and engagement patterns.

o Develop personalized campaigns for these microsegments to optimize targeted retention efforts.

o Work closely with data teams to refine segmentation and identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling.

Campaign Management:

o Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of retention campaigns across various channels,

including email marketing, SMS, and loyalty programs.

o Test and iterate on different strategies (A/B testing, multivariate testing) to optimize campaign

performance.

o Manage end-to-end campaigns, from idea to execution, ensuring alignment with clients branding and goals.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

o Track and analyze retention metrics such as churn rate, repeat purchase rate, CLV, and engagement levels.

o Report on the performance of retention campaigns, providing insights and actionable recommendations to clients.

o Continuously monitor and adapt strategies based on data-driven insights to achieve KPIs.

Client Interaction:

o Act as a subject matter expert for Retention Marketing, directly interacting with clients to understand their goals and present retention strategies tailored to their business.

o Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data analysts, strategists, and clients) to ensure the successful delivery of retention marketing efforts.

Experience:

o 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Retention Marketing, Email Marketing, or CRM management, preferably for DTC brands.

o Proven experience in running lifecycle marketing campaigns across multiple channels (email, SMS, loyalty programs).

o Strong experience working with customer segmentation and data-driven marketing strategies.

Technical Skills:

o Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, HubSpot, Braze, or similar).

o Experience working with customer data platforms (CDPs) and CRM tools to segment

audiences and personalize campaigns.

o Proficiency with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or equivalent, to track

campaign performance.

Analytical Mindset:

o Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize retention strategies.

o Experience in A/B testing, multivariate testing, and conversion rate optimization.

Communication and Collaboration:

o Excellent communication skills with the ability to present data and strategies to clients in a clear

and compelling way.

o Ability to work cross functionally with internal and external clients to drive retention outcomes.

o Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple client accounts and

campaigns simultaneously.

o Results-oriented with a passion for driving customer engagement and improving retention rates.
