Key Role Specific Accountabilities
Manage end to end sourcing solutions: attracting, sourcing, selecting, and integrating talent through understanding of business needs and growth plans.
Assessment: Support business with appropriate assessment tools to attract, source and select the right talent.
Orientation: Drive onboarding and off-boarding procedures as per the company guidelines.
Design training programs: Liaise with HR & cross function HODs to determine training needs for retail stores based on the specific needs of the organization. This involves creating training materials and resources.
Conducting training sessions: Delivering engaging and interactive training sessions, incorporating various training methods such as presentations, group activities, role-playing, and demonstrations.
Skill development: Identify skill gaps among employees and design training programs to improve their knowledge and performance in areas such as customer service, sales techniques, product knowledge, store operations, etc.
Coaching: Promote a culture of ongoing learning and commitment
Cross function teamwork: Working closely with HR; Merchandising; Retail Operations Management; and other relevant functions to ensure that training initiatives align with company goals and objectives.
Talent Development: Develop and deploy effective talent engagement. Design talent development programs that improve learning and job performance as well as support retention practices.
Performance Management: Support performance reviews; bonus awards; benefits enrolment etc.
Problem-solving: Identify and resolving disputes, issues, and grievances of retail staff, fairly representing all interests.
Keeping up with industry trends: Staying updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure that training programs are current and relevant to the needs of the organization.
Profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Training/ Learning & Development role.
- Strong background in Retail Recruitment.
- Proficient in managing the entire training cycle, including hands-on facilitation.
- Previous experience in delivering sales, service, and product training in retail (preferable fashion).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in English.
- Problem-solving capabilities.
- Highly organized and strong time management abilities.
- Effective presentation skills.
- Adaptable and flexible in rapidly changing and dynamic retail environments.
- Demonstrates initiative and self-motivation.
