We also have the CIY app & and website, a marketplace with several vendors selling their products. We even conduct craft workshops In-store every weekend.

Position Overview:

The Retail Expansion Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing strategies for current store optimization, franchise plan development, and own brand store expansion. This individual will analyze market trends, oversee store performance, and ensure a seamless customer experience across all retail channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategies for optimizing existing stores to enhance performance and profitability.

Create and manage a comprehensive franchise development plan, including recruitment and training of franchisees.

Lead the planning and execution of new store openings, including site selection, design, and merchandising.

Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for expansion and improvement.

Collaborate with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment with broader business objectives.

Monitor and analyze store performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of products.

Develop and manage budgets for retail operations, ensuring financial targets are met.

Provide leadership and mentorship to store managers and staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).

Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in retail management or a similar strategic role.

Proven track record of developing and executing successful retail expansion strategies.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in retail management software and tools.

Ability to travel as needed for site visits and store openings.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in the crafting and DIY industry.

Knowledge of the latest retail technologies and trends.

Experience with store design and visual merchandising.

Work Arrangement:

This contract-based position requires on-site work at our retail locations as needed. Some flexibility for remote work may be considered based on project needs and performance.
