ROLE: Retail Data Modeler
Duration: 6 months rolling contract

Location: Remote
Key Deliverables:
- Development of the conceptual and logical data models.
- Develop and document physical data model.
- Design & implement data modelling solutions using relational, dimensional & NoSQL DBs.
- Working closely with Data Architects & Data analysts to implement data modelling solutions in order to streamline and support enterprise data exploitation.
- Development of data mart architecture & design
- Business object design & model
- Translating business needs into long-term solution data models
- Oversee and govern the expansion of existing data architecture
- Updating & optimizing local & metadata models
- Document & maintain model repository
- Evaluate existing data models and physical databases for variances and discrepancies
- Best practices to ensure data consistency
Skills:
- Knowledge of ER modelling, big data, enterprise data
- Experience with data modelling tools such as ERWin, ER /Studio, Archi etc..
- Database Tools: SQL, Oracle, MSSQL
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools
- In-depth knowledge of data warehousing
- Experience of designing data models that reduce data redundancy, streamline data movements & protect age of data.
- Experience with managing meta data and documentation for data models
- Retail data exposure & handling experience is a must
- Experience minimum 10+ years
