Key Deliverables:

Development of the conceptual and logical data models.
Develop and document physical data model.
Design & implement data modelling solutions using relational, dimensional & NoSQL DBs.
Working closely with Data Architects & Data analysts to implement data modelling solutions in order to streamline and support enterprise data exploitation.
Development of data mart architecture & design
Business object design & model
Translating business needs into long-term solution data models
Oversee and govern the expansion of existing data architecture
Updating & optimizing local & metadata models
Document & maintain model repository
Evaluate existing data models and physical databases for variances and discrepancies
Best practices to ensure data consistency

Skills:

Knowledge of ER modelling, big data, enterprise data
Experience with data modelling tools such as ERWin, ER /Studio, Archi etc..
Database Tools: SQL, Oracle, MSSQL
Hands-on experience with ETL tools
In-depth knowledge of data warehousing
Experience of designing data models that reduce data redundancy, streamline data movements & protect age of data.
Experience with managing meta data and documentation for data models
Retail data exposure & handling experience is a must
Experience minimum 10+ years
