About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Resume Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a knack for storytelling, and a deep understanding of the job market. You will be responsible for crafting compelling resumes and cover letters that showcase unique skills and experiences.

This is an on-site role in Lower Parel, Mumbai (Maltuya Center) from 6:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. (home drop provided).

Key Responsibilities:

Resume Writing:

• Collaborate closely with consultants to understand their career goals, experiences, and desired job roles.
• Craft tailored resumes that highlight key achievements, skills, and qualifications.
• Optimize resumes for Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to increase visibility and improve chances of getting interviews.
• Ensure resumes are formatted professionally and adhere to industry standards.

Cover Letter Writing:

• Develop persuasive cover letters that complement resumes and effectively address specific job requirements.
• Customize cover letters to resonate with different industries and job roles.
• Highlight key selling points and tailor the content to each specific job application.

Editing and Proofreading:

• Review and edit resumes and cover letters for clarity, grammar, and consistency.
• Ensure the content is free of errors and flows smoothly.

Industry Knowledge:

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, job market insights, and best practices in resume writing.
• Adapt to changes in the job market and adjust resume strategies accordingly.
• Must be knowledgeable in software development, data and cloud technologies.

Client Support:

• Provide ongoing support and revisions based on client feedback or changing job targets.
• Offer guidance and advice on job search strategies and interview preparation.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in resume writing and editing
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
• Previous experience in human resources or recruitment (preferred)
