Our Restaurant is hiring for the role of Captain, who plays a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences by overseeing the smooth operation of the dining area. Captains are responsible for coordinating and supervising the activities of the restaurant staffs, maintaining high standards of service, and encouraging a positive atmosphere for guests and team members alike.
- Responsibilities include:
Oversee Dining Area- Be in charge for the setup of tables, ensuring cleanliness, and proper arrangement.
Manage the flow of guests, assigning tables efficiently to servers.- Ensure the seating protocols and reservation schedules.
Team Management:- Lead and motivate the restaurant team to provide excellent service.
Conduct pre-shift briefings to communicate daily goals, specials, and events.- Provide guidance and support to staff, resolving conflicts or issues as they arise.
Customer Service:- Interact with guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously.
Address guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional manner.- Proactively anticipate guest preferences and personalize service when possible.
Quality Control:- Monitor food presentation and quality, ensuring consistency with established standards.
Coordinate with the kitchen staff to maintain efficient service flow.- Conduct regular inspections to uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards.
Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong leadership abilities with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure gracefully.
Knowledge of restaurant operations, including service techniques and food safety standards.- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
