Job Title: Restaurant/cafe manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant/Cafe Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth running of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a strong leadership presence, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. The manager will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring a high-quality guest experience, maintaining inventory, and optimizing operational efficiency.
Operations Management:- Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth coordination between kitchen and front-of-house staff.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.- Maintain and monitor inventory levels, including food, beverages, and supplies.
Ensure the cafe/restaurant is consistently well-presented and clean.
- Manage opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and financial reconciliation.
Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise staff, including baristas, servers, kitchen staff, and cleaners.
Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and coaching.
- Foster a positive team environment, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Address any disciplinary issues in line with company policies.Customer Service:
Deliver excellent customer service and address any customer complaints or concerns promptly.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and ensure a high standard of service.
Ensure quick and accurate service during peak times.Financial Management:
Assist in setting and managing the budget, controlling costs, and maximizing profitability.
- Monitor sales performance, suggest strategies for improvement, and report on financial performance.
Implement strategies to increase revenue, such as promotions and special offers.Menu & Product Management:
Collaborate with the kitchen and barista teams to ensure a high-quality and appealing menu.
- Work with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients and products.
Monitor and respond to customer feedback regarding menu items.Marketing & Promotion:
Coordinate with marketing teams to promote the cafe/restaurant, including social media management and events.
- Engage with the local community and build relationships with customers.
Proven experience as a Restaurant/Cafe Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced environment.- Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards.
Experience in financial management and budgeting.
- Proficiency in using restaurant management software (POS systems, scheduling, etc.).
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a customer-first mindset.
