Job Overview:
As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operation of the hotel. . Your primary goal is to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of all resort departments, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining high standards of service. The Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in creating a positive and memorable environment for guests while achieving financial and operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
- Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day operations of all resort departments, including reservations, front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and human resource.
- Implement and maintain **standard operating procedures for each department to ensure a seamless and efficient workflow.
- Ensuring safety and cleanliness of the resort facilities and compliance with regulations.
Guest Services:
- Foster a culture of exceptional guest service by setting high service standards and ensuring staff training.
- Handle guest feedback and complaints promptly and effectively, taking necessary actions to resolve issues and enhance guest satisfaction.
- Taking key decisions to ensure guest satisfaction while protecting the interests of the resort
Financial & Revenue Management:
- Optimising the resort's revenue
- Manage the resort's budget, ensuring financial goals are met and expenses are controlled.
- Implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality.
- Analyze financial reports and trends to make informed decisions and recommendations.
Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and supervise resort staff, ensuring they adhere to company policies and deliver outstanding service.
- Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- In-charge of recruitment of staff
Marketing and Sales:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute strategies to attract new guests and retain existing ones.
- Actively participate in sales efforts and promotional activities to drive revenue.
- Monitor market trends and competitors to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Co-ordinating with social media manager, content creators and other branding, marketing & PR companies hired by the resort.
Event Management:
- Oversee the planning and execution of events, conferences, and special occasions hosted at the resort.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless event operations and guest satisfaction.
Health and Safety Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, implementing protocols to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Conduct regular safety drills and training sessions.
Strategy & Policies
- Involved with suggesting & implementing various strategies to improve all aspects of each department
- Suggesting & implementing various policies to improve each department
- Ensuring that resort policies are strictly adhered to.
