Job Description

Key Responsibilities of a Reservations Manager:

Managing Reservations:

  • Supervise the team handling bookings via various channels (phone, email, online platforms).
  • Ensure all reservations are recorded accurately in the system.

Maximising Revenue:

  • Work closely with the revenue management team to set room rates and implement pricing strategies.
  • Monitor booking trends to optimize occupancy during peak and off-peak seasons.

Customer Service:

  • Handle special requests or escalations from guests regarding their reservations.
  • Ensure a seamless booking experience for guests.

Team Supervision:

  • Lead and train the reservations team.
  • Ensure team members follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Generate reports on room occupancy, revenue, and booking trends.
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement.

Collaboration:

  • Coordinate with sales, marketing, and front office teams to ensure alignment on promotions, group bookings, and guest requirements.
