Join our Team: Reservation and Ticketing Executive for International Airlines!
You will be a part of International Airlines based in Mumbai ticketing and reservation team. Your role is to issue/reissue tickets, cancellations extra and maintaining good repo with agents across India.
Role & responsibilities
1. Good knowledge of GDS is a must (Amadeus/Galileo/Sabre)
2. Handle customer requirements/requests professionally ensuring minimum complaints.
3. Support travel agents with seat confirmation and arrange VIP booking/ticketing queries.
4. Support staff and customers to resolve difficult issues/problems pertaining to reservations and ticketing, on daily basis.
5. Arrange reservations and routing for passengers.
Utilizing the Amadeus to make the booking for passengers.
6. Utilizing the Altea and Cryptic for refund and re-issue ticket.
7. Issue tickets and quoting correct fares to customers.
Assigns specified space to customers and maintains a computerized inventory of passenger's space availability.
8. Guide and support staff and keep them updated with relevant changes in the industry and Uganda Airlines products/services.
9. Investigate complaints to define and correct weak areas.
10. Prepare Report & Statistics
11. Ensure quality of work, meet the Airline standard, and motivate staff to achieve positive contributions on a daily basis.
Preferred candidate profile
1. Graduate or equivalent
2. Minimum 2 years of experience working within a ticketing environment
3. Fluent in English-speaking
knowledge of special rates /offers and promotions
4. Passion for delivering customer service
5. Proven ability to resolve problems to the full satisfaction of the customer
6. Ability to adhere to Management Policy and target sales mix to achieve maximum revenue
7. Experience of working on the Sabre/Galileo/GDS reservation system will be considered as an advantage.
