Job Description Summary
The selected intern would have an opportunity to work on cutting edge technologies alongside World Class Researchers. Tasks would include doing exploratory work and literature survey in emerging technologies in ,Wind Turbine, Gas Turbine and Steam Turbine, Carbon Capture and Energy Systems
Job Description
- Learn required tools/processes and perform advanced modeling & simulation; Validate the models with published external results/results from in-house tests
- Deliver on assigned project tasks with minimal guidance and document results.
- Perform Literature Survey and State-of-the Art Landscape on assigned technologies, broadly in the the area of Aero-Thermal-Mechanical-Material-Inspection Technologies
- Document thoroughly the project work
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment as ONE TEAM
- Demonstrated initiative, accountability and ownership of assigned tasks.
- Curiosity and appreciation for role of inter-disciplinary technologies in the product development and the overall Big Picture
Desire Characteristics
- Ability to automate the processes for improved productivity
- Hands-on working on Python or Matlab
- Experience of using High Performance Computing for advanced and complex analysis.
- Awareness of relevant Industry Standards and Regulations.
Qualifications/Requirements
Students in their final year of under-graduate graduate programs (Masters/Ph.D) in the disciplines of Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, Instrumentation and Physics are eligible to apply. Students with sound understanding of fundamental concepts of core subjects of their discipline and passion for Research, with a Grade Point Average of > 7.0 on 10 point scale are eligible to apply.
