Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Engineer/Sr. Research Engineer/Project Manager to join our Multimedia Audio Team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and optimization of audio functionalities within the webOS platform. You will have a key role in handling audio frameworks and improving performance in an embedded software environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and manage the Audio Framework for the webOS platform, focusing on audio functionalities, performance optimization, and system handling.
• Work extensively with ALSA and Pulseaudio modules to enhance audio policy, routing, and volume management.
• Utilize strong programming skills in C/C++ to develop and debug embedded audio software.
• Contribute to multithreading efforts and apply a solid understanding of Linux internals for efficient audio handling.
• Work with OE/Yocto build systems to support and maintain audio software.

Mandatory Skills:

• Proficient knowledge and hands-on experience with ALSA, Pulseaudio, and Audio Frameworks.
• Strong programming skills in C and C++.
• Experience in audio policy, routing, and volume management.
• Good understanding of Linux internals and multithreading.
• Experience working in embedded software development, with a strong focus on debugging.

Desired Skills:

• Experience in audio, Pulseaudio, ALSA, and embedded software development.
• Ability to handle performance optimization and system-level enhancements in audio functionalities.

Tools Knowledge:

• Proficiency in tools and technologies related to audio frameworks, C/C++, and debugging embedded software.

Qualifications:

• B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA/M.Sc in a relevant field.
