We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant with a strong background in History to support our research team. The ideal candidate will be a Postgraduate in History with excellent Microsoft Word, Excel, and PDF formatting skills. The role involves various tasks including writing, organizing documents, preparing presentations, and maintaining research records.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Writing and Editing:
- Write reports, edit manuscripts, Folder structure, and proofread research documents.
2. Presentation Assistance:
- Assist in creating presentations using teaching materials.
3. Clerical and Administrative Duties:
- Organize documents and transcribe interviews.
4. Material Preparation:
- Prepare materials for submission to granting agencies, foundations, publications, and peer review.
5. Record Maintenance:
- Maintain accurate records of interviews and ensure the confidentiality of all research subjects.
Qualifications:
- Postgraduate degree in History.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PDF formatting.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent writing and editing abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in academic research.
