Purpose of the Job
In the R&D Department, you are responsible for development and implementation of Contactless Products/ Applications and manage project actively. You will engage with internal stakeholders to understand the business & technical requirement and facilitate the solutions. You will actively involve in New product developments, Market Research, Prototyping and Lab to Fab including but not limited to Discussion with OEM, Partners and product owners during development.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Work with Product stakeholders to identify product requirements, collect technical inputs and shape the solutions associated to Contactless Technology
- Identify application for Contactless Tag / label product in each segment, Analyse latest trends, perform feasibility study and quantifying opportunities for new product development.
- Identify manufacturing methods, design the tag/ inlay and develop product.
- Develop/ Discover new technology / alternative technology or Partner with technology provide and drive project / Product end to end for POC, implementation in collaboration with cross functional department.
- Scout and Identify required equipment's to automate the manufacturing process, Identify required certifications for developing products by coordinating with internal / external entities
Experience & Expertise
- Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate with a variety of different audiences and strong presentation skills
- Track record of taking highly complex projects from inception to full scale in RFID domain with cross functional challenges and problems
- Expertise in various types of Contactless Technologies & its manufacturing process, major innovations in domain and key applications in the market
- Should possess indepth technical knowledge on RFID domain but not just limiting to Tag design, Reader integration, Quality Standards as per the industry standards.
- Ability to guide the team or hands on design during tag antenna designing, tunning, validate the required results based on form factor, Set up process, Certification
- Should possess strong industry connect and able to drive the project effectively and efficiently
