Research Analyst (Real Estate Feasibility & Acquisitions)
Objectives:
The Research Analyst is pivotal in identifying, analyzing, and evaluating real estate opportunities for our company. They play a crucial role in supporting our acquisition and development strategy through in-depth analysis of potential real estate asset classes, market trends, and investment opportunities. The objective of this role is to use quantitative and qualitative research methods to provide actionable insights and recommendations for purchasing new assets, including land and property, and for exploring future or potential real estate asset classes or supporting lines of business.
Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis & Research: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, potential investment opportunities, and risks in the real estate market. Utilize various sources, including internal databases, to gather data.
Feasibility Studies: Perform detailed feasibility studies for new acquisitions or developments, evaluating financial, operational, and market viability.- Mathematical Modeling: Develop and use advanced mathematical models to analyze potential deals and predict future performance, contributing to objective decision-making processes.
Investment Recommendations: Provide buy, sell, or hold recommendations to money managers, brokerages, or investors based on thorough analysis and research findings.
- Trend Identification: Constantly monitor and identify trends in the real estate environment, using internal software and data analytics tools.
Report Generation: Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing research findings, analysis, and recommendations for internal stakeholders and investment committees.- Continuous Improvement: Recommend improvements to internal research methodologies and data analysis techniques to enhance research quality and efficiency.
Collaboration: Work closely with the acquisitions, development, and asset management teams to align research activities with the company's strategic objectives.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a research or analytical role, preferably within the real estate sector.- Demonstrated experience in conducting market research, feasibility studies, and financial modeling.
Familiarity with real estate software and databases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented mindset.
