Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Management:
- Oversee daily financial transactions, including billings, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
2. GST and TDS Compliance:
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST including E-invoicing and TDS returns.
- Stay updated with changes in GST and TDS regulations and ensure compliance.
3. Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor and analyse budget variances and recommend corrective actions.
4. Audit and Taxation:
- Coordinate and manage internal and external audits.
- Prepare and submit required tax documents and ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws.
5. Financial Reporting:
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Provide management with financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience in the service industry, preferably in hospitality or resort management.
- Strong knowledge of GST and TDS regulations and experience with E-Invoicing.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
