Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS and DevOps practices, particularly in designing and developing CI/CD pipelines. As part of the Digital, Data, and Cloud department, you will play a crucial role in automating and optimizing our cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and deployment processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab to streamline application deployment.
- Manage and automate infrastructure on AWS using tools like Packer, Terraform, and Vault from Hashicorp.
- Oversee Linux-based systems (RHEL, CentOS) and write Bash scripts to automate repetitive tasks.
- Implement and manage DevOps tools such as Ansible, Chef, and AWS CI/CD services to support a scalable and reliable infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications and services in the cloud environment.
- Monitor and improve system performance, reliability, and security.
Essential Qualifications
- Experience: 7+ years of total experience, with at least 5+ years of strong experience in AWS.
- CI/CD Expertise: Proven experience in designing and developing CI/CD pipelines on GitLab.
- Linux Proficiency: Extensive experience with Linux systems (RHEL, CentOS) and proficiency in Bash scripting.
- Hashicorp Tools: Hands-on experience with Hashicorp products such as Packer, Terraform, and Vault.
- DevOps Tools: Strong experience with DevOps tooling including Ansible, Chef, GitLab, and AWS CI/CD services.
Preferred Qualifications
- Programming: Proficiency in at least one software development language (e.g., Python, NodeJS, Java, .NET).
- Certifications: AWS and Hashicorp certifications are highly desirable.
- Security Experience: Experience with cloud security practices and tools.
