Job Summary:-
Kennametal is looking for a role as Analytics developer, who will help drive the success of key Kennametal digital marketing and ecommerce initiatives. This individual will be part of the team that designs and develops the Analytics platform to work in conjunction with our ecommerce platform. They will also be engaged in the creation and maintenance of content and ensure coding standards, best practice, and code quality.
Key responsibilities:
- Optimize solutions within the Adobe Target, Launch, and Analytics specifically.
- Integrate Analytics with our eCommerce platforms.
- Design or redesign complex solutions and applications.
- Understand and interpret users and project stakeholder's ideas into specific technology solutions.
- Work in agile, rapid development, and prototyping environment.
- Provide coding direction to less experienced staff or develops highly complex original code.
- Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation, and analysis efforts.
Tagging
- Strong expertise in Implementing tagging through Tag Management platforms like Launch and GTM to enhance user behavior tracking and website performance.
- Possess a deep technical understanding of eCommerce websites, products, and apps, enabling effective implementation of corporate tag setups for Analytics.
- Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Implementing Adobe tracking solutions for our eCommerce platforms.
- Creating custom events (e.g., scrolling, button clicks, link clicks) based on business requirements.
- Testing and validating settings in Adobe Analytics, tagging implementations, data layer objects, DOM attributes, and related methods.
- Troubleshooting and resolving web analytics and tagging issues to ensure accurate data collection.
Reporting:
- Develop and create interactive dashboards, workspaces, and reports that showcase current trends, progress rates against established goals, and key performance indicators (KPIs) using Adobe Analytics and other relevant tools.
- Collaborate with business teams and stakeholders to understand their tracking enablement requirements, ensuring that data collection aligns with business objectives and supports informed decision-making.
- Work closely with Product Managers, Technology/Development teams, and the Digital Marketing team to gather insights on user behavior, engagement, and conversion patterns, to inform optimization strategies.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI, MS Excel or Google Data Studio.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and their implications on web analytics practices.
- Investigate possibilities for creating specialized reports that delve into specific areas of interest, such as user segmentation, geographic trends, and content engagement metrics.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in web analytics and reporting techniques, sharing insights and recommendations with the team to improve overall data-driven decision-making processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or data Management
- Significant experience with integrating Adobe analytics in Target, Launch, and Analytics specifically
- Strong analytical, problem solving & conceptual skills, and a flexible attitude in shifting environments.
