We are seeking a talented and dedicated Reliability Engineer (RE) to join our Research and Prototyping team. The ideal candidate will be a software engineer with a focus on ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our products before they go into production and during their production lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with development teams from the early stages of design to ensure products are built with reliability in mind.
- Develop, implement, and maintain automated testing and validation frameworks to ensure product quality before production.
- Design and execute load testing, performance tuning, and capacity planning to ensure systems can handle expected and peak traffic.
- Conduct thorough root cause analysis for incidents and implement changes to prevent recurrence.
- Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure reliability best practices are integrated throughout the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in reliability engineering, site reliability engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, JS).
- Familiarity with self-hosted platforms and container orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
- Proficiency in monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
Nice to Have:
- Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Ansible).
- Knowledge of database management and optimization.
- Familiarity with machine learning models and their deployment.
