Release Manager

POSITION SUMMARY - Release Manager

The Release Manager is responsible for defining, implementing and managing software releases across the company for large and small deployments. The Release Manager will act as a Project Manager managing multiple software requests and multiple project tasks to completion, as well as negotiate dates and communicate status from Users to Leadership.Must have strong SCCM experience with software deployments.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

SCCM:

• Creating/deleting Collections, Dynamic and Limited
• Deploying software to 60,000 workstations
• Troubleshooting Client issues
• Creating and Running reports and/or deployment summaries

HP ALM:

• Creating Requests
• Entering/researching information
• Creating and Running reports

Relationship Management:

• Working with requestors/SMEs/Senior Leadership
• Working with developers and QA technicians
• Negotiating dates
• Understanding/deriving business needs
• Communicating information to BUs, End Users, and or Management

Technical:

• Windows 10
• Mac
• CA Technologies Service Desk Manager
• SQL Server Reporting Services
