Learn about our code release process on various platforms. Develop reporting engines using Splunk & Jira. Learn and develop pipelines and debug them for issues. Every work day will be a new learning experience!. In This Role You Will Get To. As a Change Management team member you will be tasked with coordinating the deployment of software releases using various deployment delivery utilities in multiple regions. Follows proper triage procedures when raising issues to others in or out of Operations.
Call out issues by contacting appropriate parties in accordance with the company's procedures. Maintains a broad knowledge of all company's products, issues and customer concern of procedures. Involve some development in self-service tool builds, deployment analytics dashboards, and JIRA reports for tracking and auditing projects. Responsible for handling dependencies and coordinating changes happening within multiple environments.
Improve efficiency by looking for and automating any repetitive and manual tasks within our release processes. Communicates relevant scheduled and emergency activities with Release Manager. Coordinate with the SRE/Pipeline team to build and manage release processes and procedures. Strong debugging skills for deployment delivery problems and able to resolve the issue with the project developer.
Self-motivated and can work independently with minimal assistance. Take ownership of technical issues in the role of a release engineer. Who You Are. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related fields.
Understanding of JIRA, Confluence, EazyBi, Google Suite, Splunk, version control tools such as Git. Two or more years of build and development experience. Continuous Integration delivery using multiple deployment utilities. Knowledge in scripting languages like Python, Javascript or any scripting languages.
Detailed understanding of JIRA, Google Suite, Splunk. Experience with APM tools, Splunk, Jira, Confluence, version control tools such as Git. Experience with deployment tools like ArgoCD, Harness, Ansible is a big plus. Knowledge of k8 deploys is a big plus.
