The Relationship Manager plays a pivotal role in fostering and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and trust in the mutual fund's products and services. They are responsible for promoting and selling mutual fund products, providing personalized financial advice, and addressing client queries and concerns.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for New Client Acquisition and Inactive client activation (Dead Folio Revivals).
- Follow up / Conversion on the leads shared by the Corporate Acquisition Team.
- Manage the existing clients and build AUM.
- Responsible for Client and distribution servicing & active involvement in hand holding the transactions with the new and existing clients.
- Take steps development of long-term relationship/association with the key/potential distributors in order to generate repetitive business.
- Expand Market Share from both new and existing clients and responsible for servicing.
- Responsible for up-sell & cross sell across asset classes to both Corporates & its Promoters.
- Responsible for Cross Sell Initiative.
- Activating i online Accounts for corporates.
- Active networking with clients, competition and distributors to get market information.
- Timely information on the products to distributors.
- Ensure market share across clients and distributors as per organizational requirement.
- Adhering to compliance norms of the organization and Regulator.
- Involved in meeting the investors on a joint call with the distributor (Need based with Distributors)
- Maintain the data on market share and review it on regular basis.
- Closely coordinate with Operations in Following up on Fax Pending documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with diverse clientele.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Sound knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and regulatory requirements
