DrivingAgriculture Lending business in their respective Branches. Isresponsible for meeting agriculture lending goals, qualityportfolio and cross sell of all banking products.
SIZEOF THE ROLE
Shallbe expected to manage a portfolio of Rs. 15 Cr.
Responsiblefor collections and portfolio quality
Managingagriculture business and portfolio across the branches ofoperations
Managinga team size of 5 employees progressively
Managingassets like marketing collaterals, Stationary, Dockets andSystems
Managinghiring and placement of Relationship Officers in requiredBranches, in future.
Business/Financials
Daily/Weekly /Monthly monitoring of the accomplishment of targetsaccording to the annual/monthly targets established for the areaand branches under his/her responsibility to provide guidance andsolutions to all stake holders as required.
Supportsreportees- in his/her area in their duties of client visits, riskassessment and recovery strategies
SupportsLoan Officers- in his/her area in their duties of client visits,risk assessment and recovery strategies
Shouldbe ready to travel extensively across the branches of control forbusiness requirements
Customer(Both Internal & External)
Ensurethat customers are aware of the Product and services properly
Ensurethat customers are explained about the Terms & Conditions ofProduct
Focuson lower TAT as per laid down standards.
InternalProcess
Ensureright documentation and adherence to laid down process of theBank
Monitorhealth of portfolio
Ensurecompliance with lending guidelines, quality framework and auditrequirements; ensure speedy resolution of any audit observationsand take necessary steps to prevent recurrence audit and otherregulations.
Ensure,supervise the correct implementation of the credit proceduresincluding all the respective tools
Innovation& Learning
Ensuregoal-setting, mid-year review and annual appraisal process withinspecified timelines for self and reportees
Evaluatethe staff competences in terms of promotion, business assessmentand credit risk assessment capacity and propose solutions forimprovement
Expectedto be updated with all new improvement & innovationshappening in the market and competitors
Shouldbe updated with the latest trends in agriculture, civic and locallaws of the territory of operation
Understandingmarket trends and competition and timely updation to supervisors
Qualifications
Graduatein Commerce, Agri or relevant subjects
AnM Sc Agri, MBA or equivalent is an added advantage
Experience (Years and Core Experience Type)
2years in sales and documentation of loans of which at least 1years in Agriculture Loans in an NBFC/ Bank. Mixed experience ofSales & Credit is acceptable, but should be predominantly insales
Certifications
Relevantcertifications shall be an added advantage
FunctionalSkills
Abilityto sell source and sell agri loans, drive sales performance. Willbe required to take complete ownership of Agriculture Lending atBranch level.
Abilityto engage with internal stake holders, customers and to ensurecustomer service and meet Banks goals.
Marketingand Sales promotion for Agriculture Lending
Abilityto speak and read regional language(s)- is desirable. Ability tocommunicate in English (Read-speak-write) is required. Has goodverbal fluency and uses simple, clear and purposeful language.
