Job Description: Relationship Manager (Insurance Agent)

Overview:
Kotak Life Insurance is looking for a competitive Insurance Agent to generate new business by contacting potential customers. The candidate will sell, solicit, differentiate, and negotiate insurance plans that match the needs of assigned or prospective customers portfolios.
The goal is to build strong positive relationships, ensuring growth attainment and increasing our firm's reputation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop marketing strategies and promote new insurance contracts or suggest additions/changes to existing ones.
- Create a pool of prospective clients from various sources by networking, cold calling, and using referrals.
- Evaluate customers needs and financial status to propose protection plans that meet their criteria.
- Deliver risk management strategies that fit clients risk profiles.
- Report the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to stakeholders.
- Maintain bookkeeping systems, databases, and records.
- Monitor insurance claims to ensure mutual satisfaction.
- Achieve customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.
- Constantly update job knowledge and learn about new products and services.
- Fulfill all policy requirements.
Requirements and Skills:
- Proven working experience as an Insurance Agent or relevant experience.
- Familiarity with all types of insurance plans (automobile, fire, life, property, medical, etc.).
- Basic computer knowledge and statistical analysis.
- Proven ability to work with goals.
- Excellent communication, presentation, influence, and selling skills.
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions and creating long-lasting relationships.
- Graduate (Bachelor of Commerce preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of agency experience is mandatory (else screen reject).
- Experience handling a team of agents with good relationships.
Additional Information:
- Good communication skills are essential.
- CTC can go up to 7-8 LPA (depending on the case).
- Location allotment will be according to the closest location of the candidate.
