Jon Title: Regulatory Control Support
Location: Pune
Role Description
Regulatory Control is responsible for establishing and maintaining control frameworks designed to manage regulatory, monitoring, surveillance, employee compliance, transaction monitoring and client screening. Work includes:
- Implementing the global or regional strategy to establish and maintain the control frameworks designed to manage regulatory, monitoring, surveillance, employee compliance, transaction monitoring and client screening
- Ensuring operational discipline combined with regulatory risk awareness & investigative skills and warrants that workflows are governed by established policies, clearly defined processes, and escalation points
- Controls, Testing & Assurance (CT&A), which tests effectiveness of Key Controls and Risk Management Frameworks related to Compliance and Financial Crime Risk Types
- Providing Quality Assurance (QA)/Monitoring for certain financial crime risk related processes

Your Key Responsibilities
- The Global IGM Change & Initiatives team will be responsible for all Change-the-Bank items and global process enhancements/alignment. Governance team is responsible for enhancing and overseeing the governance framework for the DWS IGM organization incl. the following responsibilities
- Establish and maintain Governance and Policy Framework for IGM and continuous adjustment of the platform to meet business and regulatory requirements
- In more detail:
- Enhancement of the Design and Operating Effectiveness of all key controls within IGM globally
- Global alignment of general processes in line with regional regulatory requirements
- Project and Initiatives management
- Coordination of internal and external Audit-/DueDilligence, RfP-requests and requests from the regulator
- Perform relevant Vendor Management obligations and internal processes
- India Oversight including trainings
- Maintenance of IGM Policy / Implementation Procedures and Internal Service Level Agreements
Your Skills And Experience
Domain Skills
- 4 to 6 years of work experience within corporate financial services industry, Research/Analytics role in other Banks/KPOs etc
- Interest to support enhancing and implementing a governance framework for the business area
- Interest in Business Management tasks (Headcount and Cost Management)
- Excellent collaboration skills across teams
- Self-organised and structured
- Understanding of Reporting, Control, Compliance, Investigation/chasing functions in banks
- Interest in learning Investment Guideline and Know Your Client related reporting
- Good stakeholder management skills, collecting and aggregating commentary into Management presentations
- Analytical skills and Quality assurance for Management Reporting (plausibility checks, interpretation of data)
- Ability of working with various tools for pulling and aggregating data
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint is a must and knowledge of MS Access is preferred
Communication And Reasoning Skills
- Good reading, comprehension, and critical reasoning skills
- Good analytical writing skills
- Good communication skills to communicate at all levels - onshore & stakeholders
Technical Skills
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint is a must
- Excellent skills in summarizing and presenting complex topics in comprehensive manner
- Attention to details and quality
Logical reasoning and problem solving
- Ability to troubleshoot issues
- Ability to translate policies into routine processes
Soft Skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership

Educational Qualification
- Graduates with good academic records
- German Language Skills (Speak and Write)- Level B2 is preferrable
