We are a leading recruitment company in Sri Lanka and Our client is a leading FMCG company based in Colombo. They are no 1 in the industry they operate and now have started its new manufacturing plant and distribution channels in India looking for a Senior Executive Regulatory and Logistics

The Role

DIMENSIONS OF THIS ROLE:

• Compliance of raw materials and packing materials
• Food Safety regulations and statutory compliances
• Product borderline clearance custom and FSSAI
• Liaising and negotiation with regulatory authorities
• Regulatory submissions
• Compliance of product labeling
• Inspecting Labelling Requirements in import and export consignment
• Meeting License and approval requirement for manufacturing industry
• Warehouse management
• Logistic and inbound transportation

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop, execute & review food regulatory policies and procedures to ensure that regulatory compliance is maintained with respect to Indian market.
2. Assist Group technical teams on compliance of new product developments from raw material to finished product including labeling.
3. Develop relationships with key regulatory decisions makers and stakeholders
4. Proactive lobbing, and preparing industry comments pertaining to regulatory changes
5. Assure the borderline clearance of raw materials, finished products including product labels
6. The preparation and submission of regulatory comments, reports and correspondence with relevant government authorities
7. Monitor emerging regulatory trends relating to industry regulations to determine potential impacts on the industry.
8. Review marketing and advertising activities to ensure that regulatory requirements are met.
9. Outlining requirements for labelling, storage and packaging
10. Liaising and negotiating with regulatory authorities and networking with other industries
11. Entire Warehouse Operations - implementation of Food Safety Management System
12. Logistics Management with implementation of Food Safety Management System.
13. Coordinating with Transporter, Rate Negotiation.
14. Stock Maintaining as per FSSAI Norms, Stocks Auditing, and Billing including E-way Bill.
15. Import Shipping Documents Verification.
16. Custom and FSSAI clearance
17. Market Returns Verification, Damage claims Handling from the Transporter.
18. Food Import Related works Labeling & Packaging as per Food Safety Standards.
19. FSSAI New Product Approval and New Product Development Health Supplements & Nutraceutical as per FSSAI Standards.
