Purpose of the Job
Planning & execution of new launches/programs for the concerned region, ensuring that relevant inputs from a shopper/consumer lens are in place and that adequate sales focus is there across key sales stakeholders in region to maximize the probability of success for all such initiatives.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Build a calendar for key interventions for focused NPIs in the region
- Execute as per plan by proper communication down the line to the sales team (RSMs ASM TSM & FOS)
- Track and monitor the same through proper tracking mechanism and provide feedback on the gap areas
- Co-own the defined targets for the region along with the RSM
- Develop Customer/consumer programs in coordination with brand team and execute the same in the region
- Record market insights in the region and suggest/recommend corrective actions to the HO team for better planning and execution
- The incumbent will have to go on B2B meetings with the team and garner insights for corrective action in the region.
- POSM sourcing & execution in the region
- Plan/implement merchandising/visibility for the region
- Extensively travel to various key markets within the regions
- To bridge between the HO (sales, TM & Marketing) and the region
People development:
- Set clear objectives with each team member in coherence with set targets for that particular New product from top to bottom.
- Review progress results, objectives and take corrective actions and highlight gaps wherever needed.
Skills and Competencies:
- Collaborates with cross functional teams.
- Weekly/Fortnightly/ Monthly project tracking and reporting and reviewing with senior stakeholders
- Ability to influence non reporting relationships, RSM and ASMs
- Understanding of financials in the value chain customer margins/distributor margins/budgeting capability etc.

Work Experience:
Must have: 5-8 years of experience of handling the Sales growth+ Trade & shopper marketing in a FMCG company, preferably food and beverage industry.
