Experience :-
- Minimum of 8-10 years of sales experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role within the aggregates or related industry (construction materials, building products, etc.).
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a sales team.
Key Responsibilities :-
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve state-level sales targets for aggregates.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine and adjust sales strategies.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the state sales team, ensuring they are motivated and aligned with company goals.
- Set sales targets and KPIs for team members, monitor their performance, and provide regular feedback and coaching.
- Recruit, train, and onboard new sales representatives as needed.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the state.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, contractors, distributors, and other stakeholders.
- Expand the customer base and improve market penetration.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining strong relationships and providing excellent service.
- Address and resolve any customer complaints or issues promptly.
- Oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery products.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production teams to meet customer demands.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and budgets for the state.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Report to the Regional Sales Director/National Sales Head on performance, challenges, and market insights.
- Ensure that all sales activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
- Promote a culture of integrity and ethical business practices within the sales team.
- Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, finance, and operations, to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree . An MBA or relevant professional certification is a plus.
