The Regional Sales Manager - Modern Trade is responsible for managing and driving sales through modern trade channels within a designated region. This includes developing and executing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and leading a team to achieve sales targets and growth objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales management, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the modern trade landscape.
- Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets.
Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities and threats.
- Ensure effective execution of promotional activities and sales initiatives in the region.
- Account Management:
- Manage relationships with key accounts and modern trade partners to drive sales growth.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with key accounts.- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team targets. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and training to enhance the team's skills and performance.

- Sales Operations:
- Monitor and report on sales performance, budgets, and forecasts.

- Compliance and Reporting:
o Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
o Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to senior management.
