Job Description

Job Purpose

Responsible for identifying opportunities, business development and sales of Data Center Colocation, Cloud, and managed services in the Chennai, TN & KL Market. Hunting and maintaining client relationships. Provide feedback to Sales Leadership based on interactions with clients, prospects, and other market players.

Roles & Responsibility

Opportunity Identification and Pursuit:

  • Identify and target opportunities in data center colocation, cloud, and managed services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to secure new business.

Client Presentations:

  • Deliver presentations on colocation and cloud services to executive-level clients in mid-sized and large enterprises.
  • Tailor presentations to address specific client needs and showcase value propositions.

Sales Funnel Management:

  • Monitor and manage both individual and regional sales funnels.
  • Conduct client visits, prepare accurate sales forecasts, and achieve order booking targets.

Partner Relationship Management:

  • Utilize and enhance partner relationships to generate additional value and revenue.
  • Foster partnerships to create new business opportunities.

New Account Development:

  • Develop and manage new accounts by establishing long-term strategic relationships with key clients.
  • Identify and engage potential clients to expand the customer base.

Sales Operations:

  • Oversee marketing activities, negotiations, and order finalizations.
  • Meet budgeted sales goals and achieve gross margin targets.

Industry Relationship Building:

  • Build and maintain relationships with telecom companies, hyperscalers, and OTT players.
  • Track and develop opportunities in specific markets, such as the Chennai region.

Educational Qualifications

BE/B-Tech or equivalent with Computer Science or Electronics & Communication or Electrical Engineering. MBA would be an added advantage

Relevant Experience

About 15-20 Years of relevant experience

Expertise in selling colocation, Cloud and managed services. Should be a result oriented with solid understanding of colocation services.

Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and cloud technologies.

Basic Cloud certifications.

Self-driven, motivated and results oriented

Proficiency in MS office and related applications

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
