Through uncompromising high-quality standards, coupled with the numerous applications of our pumps, we can offer our customers an optimal solution for almost any application. We aim to expand our market presence in the North and East regions-India, we seek a skilled Regional Manager to spearhead this growth.

Job Summary:

The Regional Manager will play a pivotal role in Developing and expanding Sales Channels in Various segments and providing support to existing cross matrix team, interpreting tender specifications, providing product quotations, and recommending solutions that meet customers needs in Water & Wastewater Treatment, Building and commercial segment and Industrial applications. This position requires a deep technical understanding of pumps, exceptional Business Development abilities, and a proven track record in sales within the pump industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Incorporating business development and channel expansion into the specialized roles framework adds a strategic growth focus to your team's responsibilities. These roles are crucial for exploring new markets, forming strategic partnerships, and increasing sales through diversified channels.

  • Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products, and services.
  • Forge and retain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners to secure and expand business opportunities.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities (expansion, business development, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the management team to align business development strategies with the company's overall objectives.
  • Analyse current distribution channels and identify potential new channels to increase market penetration and sales volume.
  • Develop and implement strategies for channel expansion, including online marketplaces, distributor networks, and direct sales tactics.
  • Work closely with the Marketing and Product teams to ensure channel strategies align with brand positioning and product portfolio.
  • Negotiate and manage partnerships and agreements with new channel partners, ensuring compliance and mutual benefit.
  • Provide expert technical advice to both customers and clients, assisting in the preparation and refinement of their specifications.
  • Engage in detailed discussions to understand client needs and offer solutions that leverage the company's product strengths.
  • Stay updated on product launches, upgrades, and discontinuations.
  • Organize regular training sessions for the sales team to ensure their product knowledge is current and comprehensive.
  • Ensure accurate and timely creation of purchase orders, coordinating with factories and suppliers to meet client timelines.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all customer inquiries via telephone or email, ensuring prompt, accurate, and helpful responses.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers by providing exceptional service.
  • Identify areas for operational improvements and spearhead initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization, encouraging innovation and best practices.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred, with mandatory prior experience in the pump industry for at least 8-10 Years
  • Robust technical knowledge of pumps and a solid grasp of engineering principles.
  • Skilled in interpreting customer requirements and providing effective solutions.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks to meet customer and company needs efficiently.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with customers and the ability to work collaboratively with the external sales team.
  • Self-motivated with a can do attitude, ready to take initiative to drive results without direct supervision.
  • High computer literacy and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for success in this role.
