Job Overview:
The Regional Manager will oversee operations within their designated region, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery, client satisfaction, and compliance with industry regulations. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, business development, and operational excellence to drive growth and profitability in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management & operations
- Oversee all the inspections, audits, supplier improvement project activities within the region.
- Ensure project management principles (planning, execution, reporting, updates to stake holders on the events/progress of the project) are being followed.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Monitor operational performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage regional budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation.
- Monitor day to day project wise attendance, reports, deliverables.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and quality inspectors
- Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels and coordinate training programs.
Client Relations and Business Development:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets within the region.
- Develop and implement regional sales and marketing strategies.
- Handle client inquiries, concerns, and escalations promptly and effectively.
Quality and Compliance:
- Ensure all services are delivered to the highest quality standards.
- Oversee the implementation of quality management systems and practices.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain compliance.
- Address non-conformities and implement corrective actions.
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute the regional business plan in alignment with corporate objectives.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to inform strategy.
- Prepare and present regular reports on regional performance and strategic initiatives.
Health and Safety:
- Promote a culture of health and safety within the region.
- Ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Lead incident investigations and implement preventive measures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the TIC industry or a related sector.
- Strong understanding of audits, inspection, and supplier improvement processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, financial performance, and business operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in using business management software and tools.
- Willingness to travel within the region as required.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of regional market dynamics and regulatory environment.
- Experience in business development and client relationship management.
- Ability to carry out pareto analysis and derive actionable points for improvements
- Hands with 8D analysis for customer complaints.
