Description And Requirements

We are looking for an Artificial Intelligence Center of Excellence (CoE) Leader who will be responsible for developing and driving sales of AI solutions as part of Lenovo's Solutions & Services Group. This role involves working closely with our sales, portfolio, and delivery teams to ensure we leverage the full potential of AI and our AI ecosystem in meeting our clients evolving needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer-facing presence, acting as an AI expert while also working seamlessly with pre-sales teams to deliver proofs of concept and to drive AI adoption at our customer accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • AI Strategy and Center of Excellence Team Building:
    • Build an agile team of AI experts and consultants to provide pre-sales expertise in support of the broader sales organization. Take ownership of selecting and developing top AI talent.
    • Provide expert guidance to sales, portfolio, and delivery teams on AI competitive landscape, use cases, and best practices.
    • Define and drive thought leadership to keep our offerings and market messaging at the forefront of AI.
    • Built industry playbooks, frameworks and operating model for the CoE.
    • Work with sales and pre-sales teams in market and client development activities.
    • Position Lenovo as an AI leader in the region.
    • Customer-Facing AI Expertise:
      • Act as a primary customer-facing AI expert, assisting in pre-sales activities, client consultations, and delivering AI solutions that meet client needs.
      • Communicate complex AI concepts to clients in a clear and understandable manner, showcasing the value of AI in IT Services.
      • Represent Lenovo's Solutions and Services Group as the AI subject matter expert internally and externally.
    • Collaboration with Development Teams:
      • Collaborate with Offering Development and Service Delivery teams and solution architects to develop and integrate AI solutions.
      • Own the solutioning process, ensuring the alignment of AI projects with client requirements and industry standards.
      • Leverage cross functional resources to achieve project goals
    • AI Education and Training:
      • Provide training and mentorship to internal teams to enhance AI knowledge and capabilities.
      • Stay up-to-date with AI advancements and facilitate continuous learning within the organization.
      • Participate in the active adherence and education of responsible AI principles and guidelines.
    • Innovation and Research:
      • Lead the exploration of emerging AI technologies and their potential applications in IT Services.
      • Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and integration of AI in our services.
    • Client Engagement:
      • Cultivate strong client relationships, understanding their unique AI needs and tailoring solutions accordingly.
      • Gather client feedback to improve existing AI solutions and drive future enhancements.
      • Advanced degree (MBA, PhD) in a relevant field, speaking engagement and reviewed publications are desired.
      • 15+ years Technology Services or System Integrator experience with leadership track record in AI strategy and solution implementation. P&L ownership experience is a plus.
      • Experience working in consulting or advisory roles, with a focus on AI and emerging technologies.
      • Strong understanding of AI technologies, trends, and their applications in the IT industry.
      • Industry recognized expertise in AI or Applied AI, as well as implementation experience in at least two industry verticals.
      • Demonstrated commitment to ethical and socially responsible AI practices.
      • Ability to articulate complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
      • Experience working in Agile development environments and collaborating with Scrum teams.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
      • A passion for innovation and the drive to stay at the forefront of AI advancements.
